Illawarra Volleyball Association (IVA) is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all children and young people involved in our programs and events. We adopt and align with the child safety and member protection policies established by Volleyball Australia and Volleyball NSW, including the National Integrity Framework. These policies reflect our dedication to upholding the highest standards of safety, respect, and integrity across our community.
The following policies apply to all IVA athletes, coaches, support personnel, employees, and volunteers:
IVA Child Safe Plan
IVA Child Safe Code of Conduct
IVA Child Safe Sport Commitment
IVA Chaperone Policy
These documents outline our responsibilities, expectations, and procedures for ensuring the well-being of all children within IVA’s care.
If you have any questions regarding our child safety policies, please contact us at juniors@illawarravolleyball.org.au. Complaints relating to the Safeguarding of Children and Young People and Discrimination on the basis of a Protected Characteristic (race or nationality, disability, sex, age, sexual orientation and religion) will be managed independently by Sport Integrity Australia, and should be reported directly via their Tell us about a concern or issue page.
Together, we can ensure that volleyball is a safe and enjoyable space for everyone.
